EduCover staff absence insurance

Primary schools will probably favour our EduCover policies. The flexible policies allow schools to choose the levels of cover and which staff you want to insure and give you the option of annual or renewable cover. When requesting a quotation, schools can receive both options if required.

EduCover Renewable offers increased cover in that claims or absences ongoing at the time of renewal are eligible for payment provided the school renews the policy at that time.

Tailor your cover

• You choose a daily benefit - the amount of money you want for each day a teacher is off sick
• You choose an excess period - the number of days they are off sick before payment starts
• You choose if you would also like to cover support staff

To complete your quote request you’ll need the following information:

• School address and contact details
• Staff FTE numbers
• Daily benefit and excess requirements (e.g. £150 daily benefit with a 3 day excess period)
• Staff absence history for the past 2 - 3 years
